TACONES LEJANOS

FAR HEELS
He has made the cabaret back to fashion. The full theatre stands up every night to dedicate him a long ovation. After fifteen years playing mediocre roles, he has finally achieved the glory. Although to do this, he has changed his image and his figure. Although to do this, he has changed his routine and habits. Although to do this, he has to tolerate those that do not understand that transvestism is one more expression of his art.
He knows that nobody will remember him in some months. He knows that imitators will arise soon and his spectacle will lose renown. He knows he must make most of his passing fame to resolve his uncertain future. He just expects to find, before the curtain falls forever and his role becomes part of the past, his own Victoria Abril, that sneaks in his dressing room after each performance, to love him with Almodovarian madness.
